draft four: 35% done

Twenty days ago I blogged about my status):

• 22.3% revised
• 291,266 words

Today:

• 34.84% revised
• 305,924 words

Looks like I’m revising 2,000 words per day … and adding 771 words per day.

I note that when I wrote my first draft I only wrote 720 words per day. So – wow.

Extrapolating linearly, it looks like I’ll add another 28,000 words to this beast before it’s finished, so we’re looking at 335,000 words total. Or between 1,000 and 1,350 pages.

This is shear lunacy (no pun intended).
