I’m acutely aware of that! In my defense, I wasted (“wasted”) a month or two at the beginning of this draft mapping out character arcs for the major characters so that they’d read as real people.
I think that the final polishing draft, draft 5, will be much MUCH faster.
…at least, I hope so.
Every time Square Enix releases a new Final Fantasy game (now up to Final Fantasy XIV) I wonder out loud whether they really understand what the word “final” means.
